One feature about Round Non-Tapered Columns is that they do not have neck moulding and as a result, can be cut to any size you like. Unlike it's tapered counterpart, the cap and base will fit regardless of where the stem is cut. In keeping with contemporary architecture, most non-tapered columns are not fluted.
