Due to it's flexibility the WidePlank Beadboard is the perfect alternative to using drywall in the building of a cottage. In extreme weather, drywall tends to flex and separate, while Elite WidePlank Beadboard will move, allowing for expansion and contraction over the course of a year.

Elite WidePlank wainscoting looks great an accent wall or use in conjunction with our Elite Bayside BeadBoard. WidePlanks can be used for sides of staircases on even ceilings.

Elite WidePlank BeadBoard is not sold in kits. Depending on you application, you simply order the BeadBoard Base Rail, which has a 3/8" slot on top to accept the planks and the corresponding amount of WidePlanks. Although the planks are 5 3/4 wide, only 5 1/2" will be exposed. To calculate material required, measure the perimeter of the room or space, in inches and divide by 5.5 to give you the number of planks required.
