10/20 Tapered PVC Column Wrap

Introducing our 10/20 Square, Smooth Tapered PVC Column with precise specifications to meet your design needs:

• For columns ranging from 4ft to 8ft tall, the Shaft is expertly crafted from either ⅝” or ¾" thick PVC, ensuring robustness and stability. For columns over 8 feet tall, we utilize ¾” thick PVC for added strength.
• The panels feature lock mitre joints, facilitating easy assembly and providing a seamless appearance. With dimensions of 19 3/4” at the bottom and 9 3/8” at the top, the column tapers elegantly, with a minimum opening of 7 7/8” square, adding sophistication to any architectural project.
• To streamline the installation process, the shaft is shipped in four flat panels, ready for easy cutting to your desired size. We include PVC adhesive, tape, fastening hardware, mounting cleats, and comprehensive installation instructions. With a chop saw and basic carpentry tools, you can effortlessly install the column.
• Caps and bases may occasionally be slightly larger than required. When placing an order for these columns, it is essential to confirm that you possess the necessary tools to adjust their size on-site. Failure to do so may result in the need to fill the gap between the base and the shafts after installation on site.
  
  

This Column Cover comes with a Georgian Capital and Base (as shown), which magnificently adds approximately 4 1/2" to both the top and bottom footprint of the shaft, elevating its overall visual appeal. For applications with limited space, you have the option to choose the Box (Craftsman) Cap and Base, each approximately 3" high and adding only 1 ¼” to the shaft thickness, providing a sleek alternative.

• Embrace the flexibility of customizing the column height at no extra cost; simply order the next size up to achieve your desired height. With no need for extreme accuracy, as the capital fitting over the shaft can easily add 2” to the column's overall height, you can confidently select the perfect height for your project.
• Enhance the aesthetics of your column by opting for a pilaster configuration, allowing it to elegantly complement a wall at 60% of the cost of the full column. This option provides versatility and cost-effectiveness in your design choices.
