Presenting our 10/16 Square, Smooth Tapered PVC Column with detailed specifications for your convenience:

• For columns ranging from 4ft to 6ft in height, the Shaft is crafted from ½” thick PVC. For columns over 6 feet tall, we use either ⅝” or ¾” thick PVC for added strength and support.
• The panels feature lock mitre joints, ensuring effortless assembly and durability. The dimensions are 15 ½” at the bottom and 9 ⅜” at the top, with a minimum opening of 8” square.
• Simplifying installation, the shaft is delivered in four flat panels that are easy to cut to your desired size. The package includes 3 oz. of PVC adhesive, tape, fastening hardware, mounting cleats, and detailed installation instructions. Basic carpentry tools and a chop saw are all you need for installation.
• Caps and bases may occasionally be slightly larger than required. When placing an order for these columns, it is essential to confirm that you possess the necessary tools to adjust their size on-site. Failure to do so may result in the need to fill the gap between the base and the shafts after installation on site.
  
  

This Column Cover comes with a Georgian Capital and Base (as shown), adding approximately 4 ½" to both the top and bottom footprint of the shaft, enhancing its overall appeal. For more compact spaces, you have the option to choose the Box (Craftsman) Cap and Base, which are about 3" high and add only 1 ¼” to the shaft thickness.

• Enjoy the flexibility of customizing the column height at no additional cost. Simply order the next size up to get the exact height you need. Precise accuracy within ¼” is not necessary as the capital, which fits over the shaft, can easily add 2” to the column's height.
• To suit your preferences, you can also opt for a Tuscan cap and base set, adding a touch of elegance to your column.
• Furthermore, this column can be ordered as a pilaster, perfectly suited for installations against a wall, providing versatility in its application.
