8" PVC Pilaster

8” Plain PVC Pilaster made from PVC to complement our Columns and last forever.  Our PVC pilasters are super easy to install as well as lightweight, strong and paintable. Being made from "Free Rise" cellular PVC, they hold up to warping, shrinkage, decay, insects and they don't need to be painted. Our pilasters can easily be cut down on site, all you need is a chop saw and basic carpentry tools to install. We make a large selection of pilasters and we ship them out fast.

Specifications
Each pilaster comes complete with 2oz of adhesive, PVC mounting cleats, tape, mounting hardware and instructions.
The column shaft is made from ½" thick PVC panel with miter joints for easy glue assembly. The actual outside dimension of the shaft is 7 ¼” wide and 1 ½" deep, 6 ¼" x 1" inside.  The Backer Plate adds ⅜" to the depth of the pilaster.
The Pilaster Base is ⅜“ thick which adds ¾“ inches to the width shaft at the bottom making the footprint 8" x 1 ⅞".  The top footprint with the capital is 10" x about 3".

A PVC Backer plate, best suited for window and door surrounds.  The backer plate adds ⅝" on each side of the Pilaster.
Our 9 foot columns are made specifically for easy UPS shipping! The column shaft is shipped in three sections ( 8 feet + 8” on top and 4” at the bottom = 9 feet) that fit together seamlessly on site.  The astragal or neck trim hides the seam.
