Elite Raised Panel Wainscoting – Classic Craftsmanship, Custom Fit

Most wainscoting kits rely on fixed panel sizes and filler pieces to make installations work, often resulting in uneven spacing. Elite takes a different approach. Our panels are intentionally oversized so they can be trimmed on-site, allowing you to achieve perfectly balanced panel widths across every wall. 

Each raised panel is pre-milled with beveled edges on all four sides. During installation, one edge is trimmed to achieve the ideal panel width, then the bevel is easily recreated for a seamless, factory-quality finish.

All Elite panels are milled in-house using the Freud 99-519 router bit — the same bit used to restore the bevel after trimming. It’s available directly from us or through most major hardware retailers, making the system accessible for both professional carpenters and skilled DIY installers.

Product Details

• Designed for wainscot heights between 36" and 42". For taller applications, use our Wainscot Base Extension Kit.

• A Stair Kit is available for sloped or angled installations.

• The Paint Grade Kit measures approximately 36" high x 8 ft long (actual length 95" for parcel shipping).

• Includes: 1 x Tall Wainscot Cap, 8ft, 1 x Reversible Wainscot Upper Rail, 8ft, 1 x X-Lower Rail,, 8ft (new), 1 x Modern PVC Shoe Trim, 8ft, 5 x 24" Standard X-Stiles, and 4 x 24" x 24" pre-shaped Raised MDF panels (½" thick).

• Components: Primed MDF rails and stiles, unprimed MDF panels, Primed FJ Poplar or Pine cap trim, and PVC shoe trim for added durability and moisture resistance.

Each kit is safely packaged for quick, reliable shipping. The panels are intentionally oversized to allow precise on-site trimming — eliminating errors, delays, and reorders. To recreate panel edges after trimming, you’ll need a Freud 99-519 Router bit.
