Each complete column system includes a 14" wide x 40" high Raised Panel Pedestal, your choice of an 8" or 10" Non-Tapered PVC Column in your preferred height, and your selected Capital and Base set. This coordinated design creates a seamless, professional appearance while allowing you to customize the look to suit your architectural style.

Everything you need for installation is included, with 3 oz of PVC adhesive, tape, installation cleats, mounting hardware, and detailed instructions. Engineered with our exclusive lock-mitred rails and stiles, these column wraps deliver precise alignment, clean corners, and a professional finish. Both the pedestal and column shafts can be easily trimmed on-site to achieve your required height. PVC cuts with a standard chop saw, just like wood, making adjustments simple and efficient. For convenient shipping and handling, both the pedestal and column shafts arrive flat-packed in separate boxes.

Designed to wrap around existing structural supports, this decorative porch column cover accommodates both 4x4 and 6x6 posts. The 8" Non-Tapered PVC Column features a minimum top opening of 6-1/4", while the pedestal is proportioned to align beautifully with 36" porch railings.

For optimal architectural proportions, we recommend the 8" Non-Tapered PVC Column for overall heights of approximately 8 to 9 feet and the 10" Non-Tapered PVC Column for installations exceeding 9 feet. Refer to the individual column specifications for additional sizing details.

When combined with the 40" Raised Panel Pedestal, the total assembled heights are:

• 40" Pedestal + 5 ft Column = 100" (8' 4")

• 40" Pedestal + 6 ft Column = 112" (9' 4")

• 40" Pedestal + 8 ft Column = 136" (11' 4")

Pedestal and Capital Dimensions

The Raised Panel Pedestal features a 12" shaft width, a 14" bottom footprint, and an 8-1/4" bottom opening.

The finished footprint at the top of the column depends on your selected column size and capital style:

• Box Capital: 8-3/4" with the 8" Non-Tapered Column or 11" with the 10" Non-Tapered Column.

• Georgian Capital: 12" with the 8" Non-Tapered Column or 14-1/8" with the 10" Non-Tapered Column.

Painting Recommendation

Raised panels are precision-milled from solid PVC, exposing the material's internal pores. Painting is recommended to seal these exposed surfaces and achieve a smooth, uniform finish. This finishing step helps enhance the crisp architectural details and delivers a clean, professional appearance.
